It is necessary to establish a room that meets the acoustic characteristics of audition. The reverberation chamber is made of soundproof walls, diffusers, sound-absorbing panels and other soundproof materials. The difference between the reverberation chamber and the anechoic chamber is that the reverberation chamber has a reverberation effect, forming a diffuse sound field, while the anechoic chamber produces a free sound field. In simple terms, the reverberation chamber has an echo effect, and the sound will be reflected when it is emitted, while there is no echo in the anechoic chamber, and the sound is completely absorbed after it is emitted. Therefore, in actual use, the reverberation chamber is mostly used for sound effect testing of electroacoustics and audio, and is mainly used in studios, audio-visual rooms, theaters, high-end conference rooms and other places.
